E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Specialist
The E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Marketing and will also work closely with the Sales, Product, and Creative teams to drive consumer demand and build brand equity. This is an important and dynamic role that will deliver initiatives against the long-term marketing strategy of the Levelwear brand and that will require the successful candidate to possess a wide blend of marketing skills, product expertise, creativity, work ethic, and an ability to make things happen.
As a marketing specialist you will have the opportunity to employ the power of the brand and amplify our messaging through digital, social, influencer and e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for a variety of sports including golf and a friendly, outgoing, and confident personality parried with a can-do attitude. They should invest in staying current with marketing trends and best practices and have a track record for being a top performer in previous and current roles.
Responsibilities:
Social Media:
Work in conjunction with our product and creative teams and lead the strategy around all things social media (IG, FB, YT, X, TT). Key areas of focus include: establishing and following a well thought out strategy encompassing content types, frequency of posts, growth and engagement goals, community management, positing, tracking and analytics. This role will oversee the management of the content Calander, manage all influencer and content creator relationships, maintain consistent tracking and analytics to identify trends, algorithm changes, while tracking progress and staying current with social media best practices.
Email Marketing:
Amplify the awareness and familiarity of the brand and our products through a strategic and creative lens. The successful candidate will harness the power of the existing email database to launch campaigns, teasers, new product drops, and restocks, while maintaining, cleaning, growing and segmenting the list to drive optimal performance. They will also track and monitor key KPI’s such as open rates, CTR’s, and conversions all while maintaining a respected sender reputation.
Website and E-Commerce:
Working closely with Product Managers, the SVP of Product and Marketing and Director of Marketing to maintain an accurate, impactful, and productive online presence that reflects the brand at a high level while maintaining an elevated user experience. This includes landing pages and banners, layouts and collections, welcomes series and flows, promotions and sales, and new product launches and introductions.
While maximizing sales volume is not the main focus at this time, maintaining and modestly growing the existing sales through low-cost acquisitions and modest performance campaigns will still be required. This could include running and managing paid and organic performance campaigns, managing funnels, and employing new tactics. This candidate will also be responsible for reviewing and presenting key KPI’s such as Sales Volume, Acquisition costs, AOV, LTV, CTR, conversion rates in a consistent and accurate manner for the Senior Leadership Teams review as needed. Lastly, this person will be responsible for maintaining and implementing new tools to the Marketing Tech Stack to keep the website running optimally.
Special Projects:
Independently manage smaller special projects as needed.
Day to Day Assistance of General Marketing Needs:
Assist and support the Director of Marketing and other team members as needed.
Requirements:
· A sports enthusiast with a knowledge of the golf business.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience with a focus on social media and digital marketing
· A relevant University Bachelor’s Degree is required in either marketing, sports management, and/or business.
· Excellent project management and organizational skills.
· Ability to work well within a team structure as an engaged colleague who supports the development of others.
· Has a high level of initiative and can work well independently when necessary.
· Excellent spoken, written and interpersonal communication skills.
· Position is based in Richmond Hill, ON office.
